St. Isidore Parish Music Ministry
The Church of the Assumption Music Ministry of Saint Isidore Parish,
is open to all who would like to praise our Lord in song.
- Cherub Choir - Our Cherub Choir gives children age 4 through 2nd Grade, the opportunity to express themselves through movement and song, in a safe, supportive, fun environment. We rehearse on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm, October through May, in the Church of the Assumption, and sing during Parish Eucharistic Celebrations as preparation allows.
- Junior Choir - Our Junior Choir gives children, 2nd grade through 13 years of age, the opportunity to sing praise to our Lord. The children are taught to sing in a group setting, learning the rudiments of music along the way. They are encouraged to take a leadership role in our parish as song leaders and cantors, during weekly liturgies, Holy Days, and First Communion Services. The Junior Choir meets weekly, on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm, October through May, at the Church of the Assumption of St. Isidore Parish.
- Teen Choir - (On sabbatical until interest is shown.) Our Teen Choir gives parish teen agers the opportunity to participate in Liturgical Celebrations on an Adult level. They are challenged and encouraged to learn music in parts and lead the congregation in song during Select Eucharistic Celebrations.
- Adult Choir - Our Adult Choir is open to all Adults and Teens in the parish that love to sing. We lead the congregation in song at the weekly, 11:00 am Mass; on Christmas, during Holy Week, and at Special Parish occasions. The Adult Choir meets for rehearsal on Monday evenings at 8 pm, September through June.
